I rented a AVIS/Budget car at Schiphol Airport close to midnight. Therefore there was no AVIS/Budget personnel to hand-over the car. The light in the parking garage was poor and it was only when I returned the car that a Budget employee (on her knees) noted the tiny scratches on the bumper. According to me no damage but normal traces of use. The money for damage was put on my credit card immediately and my complaint by email was rejected even quicker.

Company policy leaves no room for individual judgement of the situation. Be really careful when renting a AVIS/Budget car. Better solution: Other rental car company
