Criminal ripoff company
I rented a car at Avis Zagreb airport. The quoted price was €113 for a week, the cheapest I could find.
They took a scan of my credit card.
I brought the car back in perfect condition after a week, and dropped off the keys at 7AM.
A week later I noticed they had stolen €324 from my Mastercard!
I asked them why and they had apparently charged me for 2 extra insurances that I did not want.
This is criminal behavior and should be punished.
If you look at Avis Zagreb reviews you will see that they do the same to every customer.
Some customers they use their alternate technique of finding a microscopic hairline scratch on the car and charging the hapless customer €600.
Avis recently merged with Budget and their share price is doing well, but they should be banned from the stock exchange and fined.

The only strength is the sneakiness of their salesmen who are trained to trick customers.
