GOLD CAR!This time I decided to try it, after having skipped it due to the bad reviews.
Never had such a bad service! the staff at the desk try to intimidate customers about buying insurance for everything, despite the fact I already booked the full insurance with CARDELMAR
I made a mistake and booked a "full to empty"' gasoline policy; they charged me 130 for a full tank of a Mokka.They do return the remaining but charge u 30 service .
The staff insisted more than once about the fact that the smallest scratch will cost you 600, there is no road assistence, a flat tired will be 300+ road assistance, if you return the car dirty extra charges..and so on and on..I left the office with a sense of anxiety...I was almost scared to drive!
According to the girl at the desk the car had no damage; when I got to the parking( and had to look for the car because they dont even indicate the parking nr, and it wasnt pretty with luggage under the rain, the parking on the first floor is not covered unlike the other companies on the ground floor) it turned out the side was dented and some other damages on the back and on the other side.
luckily a staff member was at the parking and took note of it, but then I had to walk back to the office to make a copy..not a word of apologies!
The car itself was ok. I even got an upgrade.
At the return of the car there was nobody at the parking, so after I checked out in the office, had to walk again to the parking to check the car with a staff member.
I tryed every company at Linate Airport, I rent a car about every month and this was , in years, so far the worse experience I had. Never again Gold Car, there are enough choiches
