Review over GoldcarPicked up a car at Faro airport (Portugal) very early in the morning still dark.
Checked the car but missed a small damage on the wheel case of the car.
We noticed the damage when we arrived at our destination.
When we returned the car first spot that was checked was that damage. Reported we had seen the damage only when we arrived at our destination.
After been called a liar several times we got stuck with a bill of 350 euros.
Good thing is we have insurance covering the whole thing so no harm done.
For everyone renting with this company : Make sure u get an employe to check the car with you. Or make sure u take your time and some photo's of the before leaving with it.
They should check the car with u ,but they just make it your responsibility hoping u miss something.
This is there way to make an extra buck because u did not choose there overpriced insurance policy.
Another well known scam of this company is the fuel policy. They overcharge u for a full tank of gas and u have to leave an empty gas tank. Always go from full to full.
As for us NEVER AGAIN with this company.
