Bad experience Solmar - Girona
Review over Sol Mar AutoverhuurI have rented a car in november 2016 at Solmar in Girona. When picking up I made a damagereport with a mark of a scratch on the sidefront. The mark was done slightly below the headlight. When bringing back the manager at Girona noticed the scratch but said this was another one because it was above the wheel. Because it was a small car, the spot near the headlight was also above the wheel. I said that we are talking about the same scratch, because there was no other scratch visible. The manager did react very briefly, and I had to pay EUR 181,50- for the damage. Since we had a flight to catch, I could not do anything. The manager said you better have our insurance next time. So be aware: Solmar is more interested in selling insurance, than renting cars!!
